A Total Eclipse of the Salmon!!

IMG_0138Was today a total eclipse of your heart? Or maybe your stomach? Haha! Did you see it? At our work today I watched it via live streaming on the old computer. I didn’t have the glasses and I wasn’t fancy enough to make Continue reading

New Adventures

Mama Bear - Smaller

I’ve been learning new things! No really lots of new things. Now I’ve decided to get into sand blasting and have been trying it out on wine glasses. Thinking they turned out pretty good. Also designing some custom signage, but starting with the easier item – haha!

Plus its fun to make a product and get to use it daily 😉 Continue reading

Sausage Spinach Tortellini SOup

I have been craving soup. Which makes me think I’m getting sick. Even today I got home from work and went straight to bed to take a nap. And that’s after I drank a cup of coffee. So… Yeah possibly getting sick. Continue reading

Final Craft Fair

Today is the final craft fair for the season for me. It’s been a great 2016 craft fair season. Now to sell the goodies I have left over to replenish stock for next year.

I do have plenty of the custom signs available to sell if interested. Great, easy personalized gifts that I even ship. Signs cost $35, plus shopping if applicable. They are sized at 11″ x 14″ Email me for more details or to place an order!

Day 1 of December

IMG_4176.JPGIt’s the first day of the month and I thought it would be fun to take a daily moment and post a picture of some of my signs I sell. Primarily the two in the right hand corner of the picture that are for the Hilsinger’s (hey that’s me!)

Making these little signs has been a lot more fun then I thought it was going to be. I got in to making signs Continue reading

Delicious Halibut Sandwich

Halibut Sandwich.JPG

So after our Alaskan adventure a few months ago I had a freezer mostly full of fish. We have made a dent in it (hey 2 of us eating fish at least 4ish days a week doesn’t have you flying thru the collection). So I have been experimenting with many recipes. And I think I found a winner with my Halibut Fish Sandwich!!!

Now I’m sure you are thinking fish sandwich – yuck. Only fast food restaurants serve those. Wrong! Continue reading

I love a good dip with tortilla chips. And I’ve made the worlds easiest Mexican Layered Dip.

I didn’t have any beef defrosted so I figured that this weekend snack Continue reading

Soup Everyday Makes Souper You!

img_4098

I have had an affection for soup ever since I was a little girl. I love that its warm and it was always available. And my mom could go easy by just making instant ramen. Or she would cook a bit more and make a chicken noodle soup. Albeit without salt or pepper. Continue reading

Halibut and Veggie Bake

So I have disappeared from the world of blogging because I just have been too busy. Busy working quite a bit, busy with my signs as my side gig, busy with baby shower/gender reveal/birthday planning & parties, busy with life (screw housework, nope I’m stuck doing it – UGH!!!) and busy going on vacation and having fun!!!

The hubs works in Alaska time to time and we decided Continue reading

Asparagus and Mushrooms

img_3565Well life has come together again and the storm has calmed. Well sort of. But it’s nice to be cooking for two again instead of cheese and meat for one. Hubs is back from working out of town and missing home cooked meals. And I’m happy to oblige.  Continue reading
