Slow Cooker Stroganoff Pork

Here is dinner number 2 of the remaining pork tenderloin from yesterdays post. You can read part 1 here: Since we don’t like the same thing two days in a row here is a slow cook pork that is delicious and very easy. You could use regular pork chops instead of the tenderloin cut up if that’s what you have on hand.


  • 1.5 pound tenderloin cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 packet pork gravy mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt/pepper

Salt & pepper the pork and brown on the stove. It will give you better flavor in the long run. While its browning mix the pork gravy mix with the cream of mushroom soup and put into your crockpot. Side note have you tried the cream of mushroom with roasted garlic? I bet it would be delicious in this meal. Layer the mushrooms on top of the sauce. Then add the browned the pork & water. Low and slow for 8 hours.

When the 8 hours have passed I cooked up some pasta. Typically egg noodles are used for stroganoff. But since I didn’t have any I used farfalle in its place. I also throw a tbsp. of butter in my noodles when done just to get a better flavor.

Add the sour cream to the pork and mix together. Pour over the noodles and dinner is done.
