Guacamole – One of those snacks, condiments or meals that I just can’t get enough of. It whips up fast, it’s fresh & it tastes so good since it’s homemade. I tend to make this numerous times a month just because we enjoy it so much. With chips, with tacos, with carrots, on a sandwich, (fill in the blank with your favorite). It’s just delicious. So here is my recipe for an easy weekend snack to munch on while doing whatever it is you do each weekend.
Ingredients (Per Large Avocado)
- Large Avocado – Peeled, pitted and smushed into a bowl
- 1 Roma Tomato – diced
- 1/4 cup Onion – diced
- 1 Clove Garlic – diced
- 1/2 cup Cilantro – diced and lightly packed
- 1 Lime – juiced
- Salt/Pepper/Garlic Salt
Mix everything together. Season with salt/pepper/garlic salt to taste and you are good to go enjoy this. You can jalapeno if interested. Depends if we have any ready in the garden.
